The mission of The University of Arizona Pediatric Pulmonary Center is to provide a regional/national resource center for the training and education of the next generation of leaders in the care of children with chronic pulmonary disorders within the disciplines of medicine, nursing, nutrition, social work, family leadership, and pharmacy.
The program strives to provide trainees in all disciplines with a comprehensive and partially individualized curriculum encompassing relevant clinical challenges in pediatric lung disease, public policy/advocacy issues, cross-cultural sensitivity training and research skills.
